we're paying for the pcie 5.0 and ddr5 design work we are the 1st customers for it and so we pay in full just like the 1st high-end x570 boards were also expensive pcie 3.0 10y old ddr4 7y old had already been more than paid that said the layout design is crap those 2 x1 slots should be at the bottom and one of those x16 slot was never going to be usable so why add it

That is Z690, with exception of the additional PCIE x8 slot.
