Why does someone launch 5 different graphics cards when there are no GPUs to be put on PCB? Maybe question is self explaining.

Their AORUS RX 6800 Series looks obsolete to me due to their attached connectors. It either has 2x HDMI + 2x Displayport or 2x HDMI + 1x DisplayPort +1x USB Type-C. Useless reference design for anybody with more than 2 displays and for anybody with GSync/FSync.

Hedging bets depending USA election tbh. If Trump remains as POTUS, cards will flood the market. If Biden wins, due to the already announced lockdown until Q4 2021 there will be just a trickle of cards on the market. Europe is irrelevant as is already due for a complete economy collapse if Biden becomes POTUS. Otherwise, if Trump remains, gather popcorn, we going to have better entertainment than computer games. Fortunately the companies do not live in a bubble like many in here (and generally in tech "sphere") not are so dumb that cannot understand wtf is going on around them. None going to invest millions on products that would end up on the shelves if the global economy is going to crash.

We're due for a what? Cheeky ISP hiking up the prices just in time then. Next year sounds like it's going to be all sorts of interesting though perhaps not the most fun one.

What you described has business-like point of view too. Company can either continue producing and turn profit which may end up being "0" (read zero) in case cash loses all value. Or they can position themselves out of market in anticipation of crash as they give up. In one scenario, they may suffer. In other scenario, they will suffer. Yet following shows growth for AMD and nVidia: https://www.guru3d.com/news_story/intel_still_the_biggestbut_amdnvidia_and_tsmc_are_growing_fast.html That does not happen without sales.

It's what happens when you don't like reality and someone offers you an alternative.

@Fediuld whatever you're smoking, I want some of it too. But.... can we go back on topic, maybe? I had lots of Gigabyte GPUs in the past, even now I have one still in use in a secondary computer, but I think I'll go with ASUS this round, as I already have their motherboard and would like some integration of the RGB.

The Auros design is a very good cooler. it should perform even better on the 6800 series.
