Hi So what's difference with WF 3 rev 1.0 ? Can you contact gigabyte on this subject ? Me and many friends have bought a rev 1.0 WF 3 and it s very strange that we have a rev 2.0 closer from rev 1.0. Problem on rev 1.0 ? (mine works like a charm but I m suspicious 🙁 )

Any more info on this? As in why they made this choice of going 2x8Pin instead of the previous 1x6 and 1x8?

Still no speed increase on the memory, glad I bought the Palit 780 with GPU/Mem overclocked.

I can understand 780 OC cards using 2x 8pins as it may give some power overhead for high OCs. Whether needed or not I dont know. My 770 has 2x 8pins which I doubt will ever require that. I think it just gives potential card buyers the impression that these cards have balls. 😀

The GTX 770 4GB also got the revision 2 treatment from Gigabyte. My card (rev. 1) power target only goes up to 102%, as is the case for some other owners, but I see that rev. 2 has changed the 6+8 to an 8+8 power connection as well, so maybe that will enable a higher power target. Using precision X, I know that my OC is limited by the low power target, even if I make the temperature the priority. If I could give it just a little more power, I think I'd be able to get higher OC. On a side note, a while back I reset precision x to default and my card was running on stock for days and I had no idea... running games at 1189mhz instead of 1267mhz didn't make any qualitative difference.

Some cards have lower power targets than others. My MSI is 111%. I guess it depends on what the card manufacturers configure it to be in the bios I believe.

Well, 80Mhz on the core besides maybe a few benchmarks, won't do much with gaming(a few FPS maybe?), especially if you are already running high FPS. Not to mention obviously if VSync was on and you were at 60FPS then it doesn't matter at all.

Well, you got so far with your undercover 470 as a 465. I'm pretty sure you can wait a bit more for Maxwell. And if it turns out not be what's expected, we can always buy last gen at ridicously low prices. :P
