No wonder with those crazy prices...

Oh the infamous steam survey. The thing is optional not everyone take one. I never did.

I want a survey so i can bump up the percentage!

I'm not surprised. The 7900s aren't a good value and AMD is taking their sweet time releasing the products people will actually have an interest in.

Pretty sure the 7900s as well as nearly every card have been better performance for dollar for well over a year now at least in Canada. The 7900 performs similar to a 4080 but costs less

Can't buy AMD GPUs if AMD don't want to sell GPUs. The 7900 XTX I ordered not long after launch didn't come into stock until just recently, today or yesterday, and they only seemingly brought in 1 to each location. Too bad it's way too late, I gave up waiting and bought that scumbag Jensen another leather jacket and golden spatula a month ago. With their BS prices that makes no difference from price fixing, if it's somehow not (lol yeah right), lack of stock, not to mention tons of lies including complete BS lies about product performance (when in the past they gave accurate numbers), AMD have thrown away a lot of the good will that they had painstakingly built up over the years. It's obvious they'd rather just use their fab allocation for more profitable chips than their current GPUs even at their full-retard prices.

well I suspect rx7900 will be missing from Steam Hardware Survey for another year, not too many enthusiasts willing to spend that much cash on shoddy hardwares

Some are saying 2022 was the worst year ever for GPU sales.

Steam survey is so weird, I mean, I'd been running my all AMD rig - 3900X + RX 6900 XT (just over two years back with my GPU, before that, I had a VEGA64) - since I'd it built two years back, I'd had no survey update on my hardware. Then, while I was in Canada, using my laptop with an R7 5800H + RTX 3070, I'd received a survey update on my hadrware. Ofc, I turned it down as it didn't reflect my true hardware. Now, I'm surfing the net with my 5900X + RX 7900 XTX rig, and sometimes on my 3900X + RX 6900 XT rig, I have gotten no more prompts for hardware survey. It's almost like Steam doesn't want peeps with AMD GPUs to be surveyed.....yes, I know, I gotta start taking my meds.

In any of the cases where you haven't been surveyed, are you running Steam in beta mode? I've heard doing so prevents you from being surveyed; not entirely sure how true that is. Also, I have only ever been surveyed whenever I first log in. If you leave your account signed in for days or weeks at a time, you're unlikely to get prompted.

Steam Survey will start at around 14pm EST on the 1st day of every month, just log into Steam at around that time and chances are you will get asked to submit hardware specs
