I'm all out of Nvidia manipulating the market and scalper jokes and insults. Just insert your own "here".
Nvidia is manipulating the market for quite some time. The mindshare on that company is unbelievable.

Said this about PS5. Shortage, yet somehow has beaten the pace of PS4 console sales in the same amount of time. How exactly?
It doesn't have anything to do with the sales of past models. There's a shortage when the supply doesn't meet the demand. That's it. Both PS5 and Xbox Series X have extremely poor availability, regardless of how many have already been sold. Under normal circumstances if you walk into a store, especially right before the holidays, there would be a mountain of Playstations and Xboxes ready and waiting. Now the stores are only selling peripherals. The fact only miners can afford graphics cards, pretty much, has only increased the demand for consoles.

A big part of that "mindshare" came from the Pascal gen vs late Vega. There was a sizable exodus from AMD owners to a clearly superior product.

Hey, more overpriced garbage no one can actually buy! Can't get into EVGA's queue. And the only manufacturer with any actual stock is Zotac's 2000$ 3080 Ti. https://www.zotacstore.com/us/graphics-cards/geforce-rtx-30-series/geforce-rtxtm-3080-ti They can fuck right off with that price. Here I can remember feeling like paying 700$ for the 2080 was overpriced(Despite a history of high end Nvidia cards costing that much). I remember feeling like it was overpriced paying 550$ for the GTX 980 when it was brand new. (And then later laughing, paying less than 300$ for a few 1060's when I built some PCs for my brother and his friend) Boy if I could go back in time and tell myself what it would be like now. You know if they can spin up production just to make a useless 2060 12GB card, why can't they spin up the same fab to build 2080s and 2080 Ti for actually reasonable prices?

I wonder how many hardcore fanboys would sell their RTX 3090 and snag the RTX 3090 Ti......

One doesnt have to be a fanboy for that. Anyone slightly bored with extra money laying around might do it as with any other updated product (ie, mobile).

What about an overclocked 3090 and 3090 Ti?
Good question, all you need is $7400 to test that.

I might do that if I can sell my RTX 3090 for a pretty good price and buy the 3090Ti with just adding a little more.

For the people that complaining about the amount of skus all they do i believe is bin em better and better . My examples will not be exact numbers because i am lazy to look at the exact numbers. So as the manufacturing improves so does yields and the amount of defects .... Say the 3080 had 11/15 shader clusters enabled with 4 defective the next card the 3070 has 9 so that means no matter if the core has 10 shader clusters fine it has to be sold as a 3070 with 9 of em active ,until nvidia takes that core and makes a 3070ti and using it there with 10 active clusters selling it for more. So in reality they still produce the same skus they are just maximizing their profits even more.

Undying:

Isnt it silly that nvidia have 15 different skus in their rtx 30 lineup?
They have 7. AMD has 6. RTX3090 RTX3080 Ti RTX3080 RTX3070 Ti RTX8070 RTX3060 Ti RTX3060

They are selling the crap out of these cards. Just look at their quarterly earnings reports. The problem is they can't make them fast enough to fill the demand of both gamers and miners, driving up prices. The lockdowns have also resulted in increased card sales since people are doing a lot more gaming as well as working from home.

NewTRUMP Order:

Lets see, a 3090ti. Since a 3090 gets about 8 fps more than an overclocked 3080, I guess you will get 10 fps more than an overclocked 3080 now for about $4000 U.S. That is of course if you can actually find one.https://media3.giphy.com/media/XthnqKUqaz3o1471yg/200w.gif?cid=ecf05e47blwf7ja126lozua3q8o47herjvj81fv2pv8pgp8y&rid=200w.gif&ct=g
It's always been like that. The 3090 took over for the TITAN cards as being the big money card with typically 10-15% gains over cards us peasants purchase.

How so? One would think that if they're doing shady crap, why haven't cashed in by raising prices? Wholesale prices to retailers have stayed pretty much the same and it's the retailers who are doing the price manipulation. But if you have proof otherwise, i'm sure the SEC would love you to share it with them.

You ignore 3090 Ti for the abnormal price. Your better choice is wait for GeForce RTX 40-series - launch between end Q3 and begin Q4 but the ATTENTION to new RTX 4090 may reach to 800W TGP. πŸ˜‰ But why do you not want i9-12900KF? You do never use Intel iGPU (your i9-12900K). lol I don't like any CPU K-series with iGPU. πŸ˜‰

Theres no such thing as a 3090ti on the market a month after its supposed release. It might never happen.

The stock 4090 wont be more than 600W (even that high is in question) unless it uses more than 1 of the latest large power connectors. Doubtful for many reasons.
