Probably outdo a 680 with ease once you push that Vram faster, looks like another nice addition to the famiy, those vapour chamber coolers look fabby. :P

I wonder how this one compares to the 780. mmm $400 seems a great deal but only if it pumps FPS close to the 780

You cant sell an overclocked 680 without doing some concession, if you want been able to pump a bit more of perf of it. Higher voltage limit, higher clock speed, and faster ram vs the 680.

its only 40mhz on the core, guessing the vram at 7ghz is most of that increase

It will outdo a 680 without pushing the VRAM any faster!

No point of upgrading if you're a 670/680 owner.

The new king of sales if those prices hold. This will effectively put last year's cards out to pasture if it's faster than a 7970 GHz and GTX 680 and sell for $390.

Too bad the GTX 770 is the same as the GTX 680 or I'd considering buying one. Although rather than a new GPU I need a new monitor right now.

Maybe. Considering the GTX 770 is a rebranded GTX 680 with slightly higher core clocks (1046 vs. 1006 stock) and faster memory.

INFORMATION about Nvidia's Geforce GTX 770 has been leaking like air from a punctured tyre with specifications and the firm's own benchmarks reportedly surfacing, though benchmarks provided to The INQUIRER tell a different story. Nvidia's Geforce GTX 770 is set to become the firm's second Geforce 700 series card following last week's launch of the Geforce GTX 780. While everyone knows that Nvidia will continue to use its Kepler GPU in the Geforce GTX 770, reports suggest that the card will have 1,536 CUDA cores at a base clock speed of 1,046MHz. Widely circulated reports suggest that Nvidia's Geforce GTX 770 will take up the Geforce GTX 680 mantle in its competition against AMD's Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition. However figures The INQUIRER has seen suggest that Nvidia's highly clocked Geforce GTX 770 might still have a hard time competing against AMD's Radeon HD 7970. The figures presented below were tested on an Intel Core i7 3960X 3.3GHz CPU on an MSI X79A-GD65 motherboard with 16GB of DDR3-1600 memory under Windows 7. Nvidia's 320.18 WHQL and AMD's Catalyst 13.4 WHQL drivers were used to drive the Geforce GTX 770 and Radeon HD 7970 cards, respectively, with both cards running at reference speeds. All games were run at 2560x1600 resolution and all numbers are frames per second. More details on the benchmarks are listed in the appendix.

Nvidia's Geforce GTX 770 scores four wins over the Radeon HD 7970 GHz but it has to be said that titles such as Deus Ex are far from the bleeding edge of games design at the moment. In more contemporary titles such as Battlefield 3, Crysis 3 and Far Cry 3, the Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition card holds a marginal lead over Nvidia's latest Geforce GTX 770 card in the results we have seen. What we have seen with these benchmarks is that Nvidia's Geforce GTX 770 will have to be priced close to AMD's Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition for it to have a fighting chance. However, gamers might be swayed by AMD's current ploy of bundling a number of games, which puts Nvidia's graphics card partners under some price pressure on the Geforce GTX 770.

Ouch ... I hope they are not true... ( well at least they have many games where the 680 was allready close of the 7970Ghz edition, so on many review it should be more balanced, just need add AC3, Diablo3, WOW, SC2 ..strange )

Am I the only one who is rather tired of the titan 780 and now 770 all using the exact same look with the cooler. I get it works great and thats awesome but Some change in the color or look a little bit would be nice.

$400 for an OC'd 680 is an awesome price? What is the world coming to?
