The destiny 2 crash is not a driver issue, it is a RAM issue, loosen timings.

doesn't mean anything if the compatibility with the mainboard and cpu is just not there.

Same, this driver killed my family and crippled my dog. I'm actually getting BSoDs with even a tiny OC.

Has worked just fine for the past year... Only difference now is the drivers 😉

So no performance difference 417.22 vs 417.35 for example [youtube=aA81PszHKzw]

Really odd but I just tried to update from 417.22 via Geforce Experience and the driver installation failed. I'm manually downloading the drivers now and the Nvidia website linked me to file 417.35-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql-rp.exe When I came to Guru3D to get a look at the latest drivers, the same drivers but the link is 417.35-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql.exe Any idea what the RP is for? I thought it was something about being a release preview? I'm going to reboot and run DDU before trying to update the drivers again, but do I use the RP drivers or the Guru3d ones? Another oddity when comparing the two files: Different file sizes and digital signing dates. Have these drivers been updated without a version number change? https://i.ibb.co/52LzLdV/RP-NVidia.png https://i.ibb.co/K2yKJcK/NVidia.png

What graphic card are you using?

the RP package is a repack for the Titan RTX.

I'm using an old Geforce GTX 670 2GB in my HTPC which had the issues. It seems fine after I ran DDU and then installed the RP package without Geforce Experience.

Please disable internet when using DDU ,other wise you might get a driver you dont want, it happen to me the hard way. You still have your GTX470 ?

I need to update my profile info. I think I might have the gtx 470 in a cupboard somewhere, but it's long been out of my system. I changed to a gtx 670 years ago and then to a gtx 1080 ti last year. The 670 is in my HTPC which is perfect for streaming, video and emulation duties!

It's unbelievable how Nvidia became N-Greedia. Greed, greed, nothing but the greeeeeeeed... And the so-called "gf experience" is probably among the crappiest software ever made...

Should give the DCH version a try. Was more stable for me. Note though, you'll need to use DDU to successfully switch from the standard version to the DCH version.
