Too many "hotfixes" latelly. If my memory serves me well, this problem (drivers being partially out of order, thus needng a "fix") used to plague AMD cards. Too many hotfixes could result in one fine day people lose their patience and swapping cards for the "red" models...

Better to have a hotfix shortly after driver release than to wait a month or more as standard operating procedure per AMD.

Yeah, but that is a poor excuse. Makes me wonder what is the meaning of the attributes "WHQL" and "official" (mumbo jumbo?)... Do it less often, but do it decently...

@RealNC: Dear colleague, yes... I DO know what the WHQL acronym stands for, thus, my question was rhetorical (in my opinion, once the driver is proclaimed "WHQL", as opposed to being "unofficial release" or "beta" etc., should mean that such driver is free from any major problems requiring "fixing"). But thank you anyway...

Lots of issues with these for me;stuttering and some shadow artifacts in a few games also. I went back to 376.19 and issues vanished.

No. Game bugs (or app issues, chrome, firefox, etc) are not criteria for WHQL requirements, only that the driver is compatible/stable for the windows OS.

Just installed this driver. And while I dont (yet) have any issues, it's consistently 2 fps slower than 376.19.
