I find I funny the parents of the target audience were not even born when the original was released. /remembers watching the original at the cinema in 1977.

They need to fix frostbite first otherwise game will fail. IM one of the biggest star wars fans going, i have memorabilia, scripts, original kenner figures in my possession etc. I will not be buying this or any other game from dice unless they fix there over ambitious engine.

You mean netcode wise? I'd say that was fixed in CTE. I personally can't think of anything else wrong with the engine and the bugs that bf4 had were more time constraints which I hope BF4 has taught them that they need a good 3 years to develop these huge games.

From what I understand it's not the engine that wsa the issue, it's the netcode. I'm hoping with the fixes coming in BF4, Dice wont make the same mistake with Battlefront.

I'm excited and I'm not. I love the series but there is no way that this game can compete with COD and the Battlefield series. I fear EA will follow their usual process of shutting the servers down after 2 years and then blame piracy on poor sales.

DICE Haven't been the gamers dev since EA bought them up. I personally think they're rubbish with glitzy games that shock and awe the gormless. No offence.

DICE are gonna do a good job of this imo, everyone will be all star wars too cause of the new movie. I imagine it'll sell heaps and heaps.
