Having only 70w tdp is actually nice even though its not very fast.

thereby removing the need for external power connectors.

there was time i refused to buy gpu that need external power plugs that went from 6pin only to 8pin now days the pin dont matter new plug does up to 600watts. I wont consider any gpu that pulls more then 200w the 190watt my 1070ti pulled i reduced to 140watt was already a heater in the winter.
Told my uncle to get this card 3050 6gb seeing it in his price range seeing he has heartattack with gpu when they were 300$ and cant possible be worse then his 1050ti, I would hope anyway
would like to see Hilbert reviews these cards, as i like not need external power plugs for gpu

he plays 30 year old games newest and most demanding game he has grid the remake which runs 1080p @ 60fps... he dont play current gen games nor does he play games at anything but 1080p and alot cases same the games are even set to 1080 and sub 1080p.and he dont care either that running at sub 1080p. i dont even think he cares if the game runs 30 fps so long as it not slide show
Not everyone play AAA games that need that over rely expensive card be playable.

rx6600 is even faster than 3050 8gb but it uses more power.

faster maybe? cheaper maybe? like undying says uses alot more power. he has prebuilt pc that 450watt psu, he dont want get something might stress his psu. if he actual get the card is another question. there gpu going back decades he had me bookmark so he would buy at somepoint, that he never bought the only game he ever got that maybe him go get new gpu was crysis he has zero interest in new gen consoles and new gen pc games.
the cheapest of sub 200$ card the pull lest amount power is what he is after or so he says. so long as better then what he has and if 3050 8/6gb is worse then 1050ti perfomance wise Nvidia is no longer company I think they are.

It is but it is not low profile...
This low profile GPU isn't only for game but also for small SFF workstation for office+ use, i have build many SFF with the GTX 950, GTX 1050 (Ti or not Ti) low profile card, because lower GPU or IGP doesn't fit the use.

That heat sink looks pretty thick, I like the way the fans are embedded....if it can perform like a 1660 super this might be a winner winner chicken dinner!

but there are people that says it does.... almost all those case it DLSS gains, but those people ignore that in most cases is matches and in some is worse.
uncle wont by 3060 is 300$ and he prefer gpu at this point that not need psu external power 175$ alot more plausible for him to actual buy

My GPU power budget is 150W, I have on paper just gone over this with my RX6600XT but I have never seen it draw more than 150W.

Well, I was wide awake years ago when I bought a 560 Ti and it was kicking ass. If you buy a 4060 Ti now the only thing it kicks is your balls for buying it.
