Awesome stuff! Man my 1950x Threadripper and X399 would love that new DDR4-4500MHz CL19-22-22-42 32GB(4x8GB) kit, it be a 1300MHZ boost! Hilbert if these kits ever work on AMD you have to bench some Ryzen CPUs and a few Threadrippers to see what sort of gain you get, I would think it be substantial. Either way very cool to see these speeds/rad kits, at this rate we will see DDR5 in no time. I can see it now(begins to dream): Threadripper 2 3990WX + 32 GB DDR5 5200MHZ + X499 + PCIe-4 + Gen 2 M.2 NVMe on PCIe-4 and an epic 7nm GPU! Let's GO! 🙂

I thought TR was currently stuck at around 3200MHz? Also, 32GB for a 32-core CPU is relatively low.

if they demonstrated them on the z390 it means that on amd they are stuck at around 3200. I just bought 8x4 3200 cl14 gskill because i could not find anything better. I hope i m able to get 4 dimm at 3200 on a 2700x. I have still to build up everything.

You are better off using 2 sticks with higher capacity, if they are available. they were not available here, so I went with 4x 8GB 3600MHz CL16. Using 2 sticks, it can go there. Using 4 is another story. But latest agesa improved it a lot. And there is a lot of space for maneuvering between clock and latency.
