I'm assuming you're going to run a bench for this? I really want to try it but I don't feel like buying 3DMark for one test.

I've got w10 installed on my main rig. It'll be a few hours before I can get home and do a bench.

So DX12 is 18% more efficient than mantle and 1562% better than DX11 or nearly 16x better. Pretty impressive.

Here is my run on Win7 http://www.3dmark.com/3dm/6375108
wow. I need to build a hybrid system to run nvidia and AMD. in the future, if it holds true. to combine nvidia and amd. all that power.

To be fair its a test designed specifically to show DX12's advantage. Actual game improvements will probably be closer to 20%. Although I doubt many games will actually have DX11/12 variants so testing will be difficult.

All of those scores are relative. System configuration is going to have an effect on the scores, as usual. The faster the CPU and GPU, the more draw calls. To an extent, we'll still be able to use these scores for comparison to other systems. You just won't be able to properly compare AMD vs NVidia.

Even 20% increase on your existing card is pretty good i have noticed that the Intel core shows alot of improvement over the AMD A10 in DX11, to be expected really.

ALso, dob't forget that improovment in existing game won't be that drastic, truee, for a time. Mostly because of older apis in use. But it will allow to create things that weren't possible at all with dx11/gl4.5 so new games might arrive (imagine how much this could improve games like Total War with dozens of small independent objects!)

Hey, don't hate the playa .. hate the game ! I had, I ditched it as I reused a SSD I needed ... now installing again. Waiting for Windows update to finish to a newer build and then will have DX12 😉
