We shouldn't call him future CEO just yet .. he's only a candidate among four others. My money is on Nadella :P

Who on earth would like to buy Bing? M$ lost billions on it every year and most likely would charge billions for selling it. There can't be anybody who with a bit of sense that would like to buy it.. They will have problems selling Xbox even not BING. Let's just wait and see

Yahoo I guess. Xbox is a black hole .. dunno who in their right mind would waste their money on that.

hopefully elop isnt the one. Personally i see no lights in him. its obvious ipod has potential turning into phone and he failed to realize that. Also nokia phone still equip with outdated spec etc. is it such desparate to make money? He is short sighted of technology and narrow tech minded. sigh...

I'd sell Xbox too and commit to PC gaming instead. PC gamers don't want Xbox and if they do not start investing in PC gaming soon, others are going to push Linux instead.

In a business perspective, this Elop guy is a complete utter idiot who has no idea how MS got where they are now. As a disclaimer, I hate MS and haven't bought one of their products in about 12 years. But MS didn't become huge by sharing their experience with non-Windows users. They forced people to depend on them. It took a long time for MS to release a Mac version of Office with no major strings attached (in Apple's perspective).
I'm a huge fan of Qt and completely understand why Elop wants to do the things he said, but he will destroy MS with his personal business tactics. Except for Office, MS's products have always been sub-par. Windows 7 is pretty good but it's still a bloated mess.
As for selling Xbox, that's also a terrible idea. MS may have screwed up big time with XB1 but I'm sure it'll still be profitable. Considering how proprietary MS is, nobody could possibly buy out the Xbox brand and expect to get anywhere with it after spending years and millions of dollars in legally preparing it.

How could they consider Elop? 😛uke2:
By performance he is the worst CEO in history. He utterly decimated Nokia.
Though on the bright side, Goodbye MS if he gets the top job.

Sorry, but Elop seems like an idiot.
Selling a productline before it even provves if it is a success or not...
And to the useres that already judge the Xbox One to be a failure, where do you get that f***g idea from?
Even Bing is a lot better than that f***g pos named google these days, at leat it gives me only the relveant results for my searches instead of endless list of bs that has nothing in common with what was searched for, f**k SEO, hope it will die one day.
Also found the Nokia comment funny, bet you never held a 920 or better in your hands and really gave it a testdrive.
