Sad for the company, good for anybody in the US / CA that wants to stack up on stuff again.

While its sad to have one less option for cooling related stuff, and i loved that they offered niche stuff, even if just as their own brand (dead water), their CS wasn't as "good" as they could have been. and in the last couple of years, amazon shipped it across the continent quicker (and at lower price), then getting it from their warehouse, less than 400 mls away.

Honestly... the PC cooling industry is already a bit saturated. The easier a market is to get into, the harder it is to be profitable. When all of your products consist of at least a chunk of metal, a motor, some plastic bits, LEDs, and perhaps some plumbing hardware, you're going to have a hard time competing. The only companies that manage to survive and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future are the ones that either have the best reputation (like Noctua or EK) or tap into multiple markets (like Cooler Master or Corsair). The only company that I'd be sad to see go is Zalman. They don't make the best products but they do make interesting ones (not specifically just coolers). I like companies that don't go with the status quo.

@schmidtbag try finding things like dead water (biocide for loops), monster (passive) rads with 9 or more fans, or tweaked eheim pumps in the US, and you will see there isnt anyone besides frozencpu or amazon, or online shops with weeks/month to get it because of no stock and/or distance. tso having a store in CONUS was nice. requirement for me, shelling out extra for quick handling and express Saturday delivery, was that items were in stock, so i called to check&order, only to receive different items, on monday afternoon. not the "premium" experience i expected from a shop, touting itself for best CS, so started limiting it to things i could not get from microcenter or online markets.

Used to order from them and sidewinder computers back when I would build my own water loops in the mid 2000's. Soon Air cooling got a lot better. Later power budgets and smaller die started pressuring even quality air cooling and then AIO got a lot better. Guess I am not the only one.

Wasn't that(frozen)the company a little while back, they shut the doors. Their site went offline, and finally, a week later they started responding again? They did have some cool custom cooling stuff you can't just get any where, sad!!!

I once ordered an AIO cooler from them that was defective and when I asked for a refund they flat out said no, they don't accept refunds for AIO's (what a dumb policy). At the time I wasn't really making much money so I was stuck with a paperweight and a i7 920 running on a stock cooler. After some explaining I was able to convince him to accept the refund, but he made me feel like some punk kid trying to screw him over. Having worked in customer service myself I never fought someone on a refund or made them feel less of a person for wanting to return something. It's immature and bad for business.
