The next game listed as free, 20xx, looks really interesting for Mega Man fans. A Mega Man style platformer with supposedly some light rouge-like elements? Gib nao! I don't know how I haven't heard of it before.

I think they are giving way too many games. At this point unless you really really really want to play a game there's no reason to buy one. I have a backlog of 66 games on EGS and i did not buy a single one of them.

Epic is simply giving back to the community with all the money they make. Meanwhile Valve continues to swim in money and does nothing with it.

I do support EGS with a number of purchases - World War Z, The Sinking City, Metro Exodus + 2 expansions, etc - and a good number of their freebies as well. Appreciate their effort with their freebies, hence my willingness to buy from them whenever I see a game that I want that they have in their store. I find myself not browsing Steam for games anymore, unless they have a game that I'm looking forward to that EGS doesn't have. IF both digital distributors have the game I want, and prices are similar, it's a given my support or purchase would go to EGS.

I just collect games on EGS. The launcher doesnt work on my PC without messing with it to prevent dx9 install. Works for a few days until next update. Just not worth it.

Sounds like a messed up windows install. Been using the Epic Games Launcher since 2016 without issues.

I added Tacoma to my selection of free games and while ive only played for 10 minutes it feels like Observation which i really enjoyed, although Tacoma might be slower paced it looks amazing @4k like Observation does and im looking forward to playing it in the next couple of weeks when i have the time to lose my self in the games atmosphere.

Not really, 0 issues with anything else over 3 years when i built it. I had unreal engine 4 installed before EGS was a thing for games so yeah that. Anyways no too bothered and will be sorted whenever i do a new build.
