Its internals is the leadex platform from Superflower. I own the EVGA P650, brilliant PSU.

Yep, it's Superflower, and I hope they keep it this way for my experience with Seasonic is bad: one PSU of them burned my entire system when turning it on for the first time.

It's the right improvement. EVGA G2 PSUs are great (I own one), but the dual ball bearing fan used is not silent at all (thankfully in ECO mode it rarely turns on). Hydraulic bearing fan should be quieter.

Not sure,have right now Seasonic X-1250W XM2 and no issues at all Regarding Superflower/EVGA G2,friend have older G2 which has failed on him few weeks ago,Superflower I've used on earlier X58 That's very unfortunate there this has happen to you,that's very bad luck there Hope this helps Thanks,Jura
