I thought Nvidia don't allow non-reference builds ? So will this be released as an assembly kit where you need to swap the cooler out yourself ?

nV likely wants to keep reference PCB to prevent AIB cards from reaching crazy overclocks which would increase moral lifespan of cards, which with Titan name is already high.

There is no point volt nodding these on air, you will kill the card. The vrms will pop, remember its the electrical current that kills and not the amount of voltage. Running any card with a volt mod on air is something I would never ever do.
However a card without a voltmod that s running on water is a waste of cooling. The reason why I sent the 980s back was because of no proper voltage controller. Hence they don't clock very high at all even when using something like evbot.

Knowing EVGA this is gonna cost 1000 + 500 for the Waterblock.
