Unless one gets 2 cards, the 6GB vram is not really future proof, since one card will run out of horsepower before vram... My dreamcard right would be a 780Ti with 4-5 GB vram, even though I know that it's not possible it would be a nice balance. I like how AMD handled it with R290/290X.

They should have brought these out with the original 780 launch. With Maxwell on the horizon this card will have limited appeal now IMO..

Imo they won't come out until october or even later this year. Nvidia still has to pull out gtx 790 and AMD their double gpu variation of R290... so yeah, quite a long wait ahead.

Why, he has a very valid point. One 780Ti will struggle in 2 years be it 3 or 6gb, heck it can now if you max out every setting (Crysis3 for example) Look at 580gtx now, its at its last breath to keep good fps and I already have to disable SSAA or lower AO, blur/dof.

Titans would become obsolete if the 780Ti came out with DP, I doubt memory is why they sell.
