You can thank Apple for popularizing the trend of charging several times the value of a readily available off-the-shelf component. There's a reason why they solder the shit out of everything in their computers and make it as difficult as possible to access. Even their storage is soldered last I checked. Enjoy your data loss.

Since they are pulling that kind of junk on folks already I'm not even going to bother giving them a second look. A company like that can just die as far as I'm concerned.

Must be lovely to look at that screen. But price of those things... I wonder if 120/144Hz version of screen could be cheaper. And then one would not need as expensive CPU.
