Shouldn't apple also be fined? I hope so.

So, did they send money to Apple? Or did they gave them "discount"? There is big difference. One is "bribe", other one is winning bid with lowest price. Anyway, Apple does not like technological diversity, so it is not like they would be changing sourcing companies like socks... Or use many different companies to deliver same component.

So after FIVE years of locking other companies out the EWE (EU) fines Qualcomm the equivalent of a $2000.00 fine on a salary of $45000.00. LOL that'll teach them 🙄. Qualcomm grossed $100 billion dollars in that time. So really the fine works out to more like a $400.00 fine on a $45000.00 salary.

Wow. So, companies that did not manage to sell LTE related tech to Apple were damaged but Qualcomm and Apple were not? So they fined Qualcomm for that. Interesting. This never affected me though, or any other user that doesn't use Apple products. Apparently, there are more non-apple users yet all these other companies still suck ballz because Snapdragons and Qualcomm are superior wherever and whenever you can get them. I can't even imagine Apple retaining their drones if they used Mali boards or something like that 😀

You are quite clueless, aren't you? Just like almost everybody when it comes to these anti-trust cases.

No, I just think they are mostly abused by both EU and companies. The post you unnecessarily quoted is basic cynicism and spat.

Fining never changes anything. Until the start Criminal Prosecution of the Board, then nothing will ever change no matter what the status is of Billionaire Companies (banks included).

This is good, sure, but I'd rather read about the EU starting to look at the memory manufacturers' cartel. But maybe they wouldn't advertise it beforehand even if they already were?

That's a lot of money.
