Epic showing so much nice tech demos, but don't know even a single game on UE with that kind of graphics.

While I agree that 32" at this point in time for TV is to small I belive 4k on 32" look better then then on 40", but at same time thing on 32" 4k from 7+ feet away is hard to read things on vs 40" 4k, but at same time 32" 4k look better then 40" 4k at 3feet or less, there is just no arguing that with me, For me a denser PPI will always win out imo.
For PC with 32'' it should be at least 8K. I have 4K and 27'' and density is still far from to be perfect.

Like usual.

Nvidia said they used 4x NVlinked Volta V100:s to run that in 1080p 24fps. So yeah, no way this is getting in games until they find some cheaper solution or we wait until gpu:s have 10x or more power than currently.
I thought it was just titan volta, but its actually a dgx tesla workstation for a 49.900$...whops, back to reality.
Rather 4 x Tesla V100 DGX Station. $49,900 with 25% discount, still more than enough 😀 https://www.reddit.com/r/RenderToken/comments/867lew/epic_games_demo_for_nvidia_realtime_ray_tracing/
It's not just for games, the rendering settings here were set at production level. Epic is trying to break into the movie industry with pre-production prototyping. They have a tablet that acts as an AR camera in a scene, so when a director/actors are on set they can see the CGI characters/background assets in real time at pretty high quality. Epic has been talking about breaking into this industry for a while, 4.20 is also featuring a major sequencer overhaul with a lot of features related to this type of work. It also goes in line with the 4D motion capture tech they showed off as well. You should watch the whole state of unreal video.

Yeah I'm gaming on a 43 inch 4k tv as a monitor. Setting my games to 1080p is painful to my eyes after getting used to 4k.
Yeah, because any resolution upscaled looks like crap. Its 2018 and many folks out there still dont understand this. Any given resolution looks best on its native screen resolution. 480p upscaled to 1080p looks crap. 720p upscaled to 1080p is the same. 1080p res on a 1080p screen looks fantastic, much better than scaled to a 4K screen. Have you ever seen 480p aka Gamecube/PS2 era games on a 4K screen, they look like blurry garbage. Downscaling/aka supersampling is different, it looks great to display a higher res image on a lower res screen, it can give you more detail/great looking AA.

I must say, this demo is incredible, I cant tell the difference from the films themselves. Wonder if this was also on the 3x Titan V setup?

I'm well aware of this but thanks anyway. Looking at 1080p on a native 1080p screen looks like crap to me as well. My eyes are too spoiled. Kinda wish I was still okay with 1080p so I didn't have to spend so much on pc hardware.
