Hah I assumed they designed and made this thing just for Linus, cool to see than now other insane people can do it for themselves (if they have a spare 30K)

That was quite a fun build to see come together. Thought it was pretty interesting to even see that it was possible to get 7 modern games running on one PC through various software, something not really possible only a short time ago. Opens up some good possibilities this 🙂

I remember watching Linus' video and remember seeing this block and it was cool looking. Also it is good to see this finally for sale. Not sure on who would buy this block because 7 Graphics cards is alot. Is there such as thing as 7 way SLI/CrossfireX for them high intense graphical applications that them very high end users use?

some compute applications scale almost linearly with added cards. Definitely useful for some folks

Offcourse appliccations scale linearly, for compute at least, i think to raytracing and other. each cards are seen separately by the system, whatever it is Linux, or windows... we do render farm like this since many years for OpenCL raytracing, or Cuda raytracing. We can push 200+ GPU's in a server for our 3D render and VFX at work. The only limit is the money.

for game it is a waste as after 4 in SLI and Xfire... well, you know 😛uke2:... but for computing it is a dream 🙂

Wow thats one crazy build. Is that 7 water cooled Furies + Xeon? At first I thought he used something like 750 Ti, BFD.Why even go for water cooling, let alone have cooling problems. But 7x Fury... /impresive
