That's a lot of money for a FHD 24" monitor.

Agreed, That is almost as much as the 32 Inch Curved 1440p 144hz gaming monitor i bought last year. Why is an "Office Montior" $300? it should be sub $100.

It is a lot but then it is EIZO. They have a higher build quality than most. They build in power savings features like presence sensors. Really this is geared at offices where you want good power savings and a long 5 year warranty.

Just bought my wife two 1920x1080 22" IPS Dell monitors and a dual monitor stand for the price of one of these. I don't care if this is made by EIZO it's egregiously over priced.

Enterprise grade hardware always will have a price hump.

EIZO does expensive things, we should not be surprised. They used to do reference monitors for color professionals, and those are probably good lcd with good built quality at corporate price. Those monitors are not meant for computer enthusiast or DIY builders, are probably for large offices installations where they do not care for the price of the single pc.
