Small checkerboard like pattern may randomly appear in Chromium based applications. That one is annoying, been happening for a while now 🙂 I can reproduce all the time on my RTX 3060 on a 4k display while scrolling up/down in Opera on a page full of picture thumbnails for example.

It's not exactly high priority ... we don't use these cards to watch youtube, but only to play games 🙂 Just like smartphones are not meant to call people, but just browse facebook videos 🙂

Nice! Just to clarify, is this for DirectStorage performance in general, or is it specifically for Reflex performance when using DirectStorage?

I'm getting the "NVIDIA installer failed" message, which hasn't happened in ages. I DDU'd in safe mode and tried again with the same result. Not sure what to do. Guess I'll try installing 536.67 and then 536.99. GPU is a 4090. editing this: I was able to install the driver by skipping GFE. Then rebooted and installed the driver again with GFE and everything worked fine. Kind of weird but all good now.

Checkerboard is an app bug and has no correlation to the browser hanging or crashing which would be an issue with your Riser, PCIE bus error rate or graphics card itself.

Installing over the prebious one is all you need to do if you were on 536.67. Using DDU each driver will cause more harm than good.

doesn't occur if you have Ambient mode disabled in the youtube player, nor if you're playing on a display that has no MPO's. (Or disable MPO's on any display))

Destiny2 flicker Friend with 4080 just said this driver fixes water and smoke flicker At e.g. Hall of heroes or edz dark forest. Will try tomorrow on my 3080ti. 🙂 It was a quick fix if true, so thanks for reacting so fast to my report.
