With the GPU connected to an HDMI 2.1 audio/video receiver, audio may drop out when playing back Dolby Atmos. [3345965] Fixed?!! Whoa!

These made the light in my oven flicker, rolling back to 512.95.

OnnA:

Great driver so far, installed over previous (+ reset settings in NVCP, set again + Inspector Tweaks). All fine. Tested: BF2042, FH5, Last Epoch, MtG A & Solasta.
What about this? "Open Issues - [Forza Horizon 5] Rainbow like artifacts in game after driver update." Or is it a temporary thing until reboot?

Played FH5 today and everything is fine.

yeah undervolting is the way to go. 856mv at 1860mhz on a 3070, 125w on forza 5 instead of 215-225. next gen doesn't scare me so much thanks to it. at worst with an undervolt it will be like my stock TDP we all know that both AMD and Nvidia overvolt their cards for "stability" (actually probably planned obsolescence and deals with PSU vendors) we all remember the HD 7000, R9 Fury, Vega series and their notoriously bad overvolting.. it's been like this for a while

Fixed? Subjective. Is the HDMI 2.1 dropout issue corrected? Nope.

I don't bother with undervolting my 3090 as just running the card in Balanced mode means it uses way less watts. When i watch the cards behaviour in this mode with GPU-Z it runs between 1200 - 1755mhz in games and is up and down as it needs fps. Compared to running the card in Max performance mode where it runs at solid 1755mhz, well as you can imagine this effects both wattage and temps. Looks like about 100watts less AVG and 6C cooler for only a small drop in frames.

- [DirectX 12] Shadowplay recordings may appear over exposed when Use HDR is enabled from the Windows display settings.
So a work around I figured out for this, and it works for my brother as well - is to change the output dynamic range to limited then back to full in NVCP - then the HDR is captured correctly with Shadowplay.

Ovens require the heat of AMD products, should switch.

You probably mean the heat of RTX 3090 Ti with power up to 480W 😀
