Hello everyone,Is it not possible to turn on sharpening for individual games on the new driver now, I don't like global sharpening:(
Try this, get's the old sharpening back:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm\FTS]
"EnableGR535"=dword:00000000

Can please someone with older LG Ultrawide 60Hz monitors confirm that G-Sync compatibility still works, I clean installed the driver 3 times and just does not work anymore...

Freesync and its LFC broken on Gigabyte G27QC / Windows 11. 511.23 ok.

Ok, probably time to forget about all 500 series drivers for now, unless you have new hardware...

Cave Waverider:

Hm. Looks like something is broken with G-Sync (compatible?) and this 511.65 driver indeed. I noticed when toggling Gsync Windowed and fullscreen after installing the 511.65 drivers in the Nvidia Control Panel it didn't have the usual delay when applying the setting. I started a windowed/borderless full screen game, G-Sync doesn't work, but it does in proper full screen. This issue exists on on my RTX 3090 + LG OLED CX (connected via HDMI 2.1), GTX 1080 Laptop with built-in screen and RTX 2080 with Philips Momentum 436M6VBPAB VRR Monitor (connected via Display Port 1.4), so it doesn't seem to be related to an architecture or certain monitors. All three systems are on the latest release version of Windows 11 with all the latest patches. Update: Setting G-Sync to Full Screen and Windowed in Nvidia Inspector and restaring Windows fixed it for me and G-Sync is working properly in Full Screen and Windowed/Borderless modes on all three systems with the 511.65 driver again. Seems the Nvidia Control Panel G-Sync Settings are wonky in this 511.65 driver package for whatever reason, but Nvidia Inspector seems to set them properly still.
Thanks for this. /RTX3000 & LG C1 user

madVR/mpv fullscreen MPO stutter bug still not fixed. 🙁
Not sure what you mean by this. I use madVR (and MPC-BE player) but don't know what you mean by MPO.

This release seems good not to much time to test it more, the only thing I see it's on msi afterburner after do it a oc scanner, afterburner says the oc was unstable. I think in the last versions oc scanner don't give this and say it's stable, can someone confirm it?

(Windows 10, Asus 3060 Ti) So, GSync *seems* to be working with these drivers, both on my monitor and on my LG CX. There's a delay and a black flash when enabling it in the control panel. I also checked in Nvidia Profile Inspector and the settings are on (this is the app I'm assuming you guys are using, not *Nvidia Inspector*, a different app. How can I make sure that gsync is working? I've tried hitting the Gsync compatible indicator thing under Display in the CP, but nothing happens. Edit: g-sync works for me both in 511.23 and 511.65, just gotta have Instant Game REsponse on on the TV.

I mean if the indicator is ticked and its not showing up ingame it obviously means it's not activating.

Yep... I tried the nvidia g-sync pendulum demo. Won't let me use g-sync. And the "3. Display specific settings" row in the CP doesn't display on my LG CX. But now I've gone back to 511.23 and it's still not working on my TV... Now I'm unsure if I ever had it working lol. Edit: It works (in 511.23 at least) when I've got Instant Game Response enabled on my LG CX.

So far, this driver runs smoother than the previous. I still wonder if I should turn on HAGS again (disabled since the release of it).

these drivers have worked wonders for Win 11 in-game audio. my laptop is Nvidia and i was only having these issues with Nvidia (Adrenaline drivers were a.o.k. with Win 11 patch) i'd have gross audible artefacts and on some legacy games (Civ V) the sound cut out entirely to the point i stopped playing as soon as they surfaced. i was concerned at the massive size of the drivers... 650-ish mb and whether it would cause new issues, but NOPE all cleared up and good to go.

Maybe try a little less aggressive approach. You're not yelling at your mom to cut the crust off your sandwich.
