Sometimes you can "try catch" a memory exception, so long as doing so isn't exposing a security vulnerability, the games still playable, with windows No Execute protection fully disabled. PS: the physx runtime where the crash occurs was never updated between the game working and not working either. turbulence smoke works in game btw, its just the benchmark that crashes from my experience.
I am currently playing this game with my 3080, all Gameworks effects ON and no crashes. Is Ampere immune to this?

This driver and last I get an error in most games that I need a DX11 capable card. I have to use 470.25 drivers. I've done a clean install of OS and drivers to try to fix and nothing.
Which build of Windows 10 are you using?

You know that sounds weird right? Is your system updated in general? Windows and other drivers.
Yes, brand new. Trust me when i tell you that i made sure that everything possible is up2date. But as soon as i install nvidia drivers the stutters and small delays start to happen. Started with the drivers at november. It's either nvidia drivers or windows updates that contain microcode updates. And it's defo not a "just me" issue. I've read through multiple threads (guru3d forums also on nvidia and overclock.net) that people have similar issues with 30series gpus getting microstutters, latency issues (shown in latencymon from several users) and freezes/stutters with the drivers for the past half a year now.

20h2 19042 I think its an issue with easy anticheat. When I start the game it crashes with dx11 card needed then I click ok then i get an easy anticheat error. 3 games now don't work with these drivers so far. All saying I don't have a DX10/11 card.

run through your startup list and remove things, theres no known cause for this in the driver or the OS to my knowledge. might also help to download this https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=8109 Run(Unpack to folder) > navigate to folder > run dxsetup/setup.exe

@ManuelG are you kidding me? AOC 24G2W1G8 now is officially g-sync compatible but my AOC 24G2W1G4 isn't? Can you please do something about it. They are the same monitors after all.
Can you explain how you came to the conclusion they are the same monitor, when there is absolutely no identifying specifications for the G8 anywhere on any of the known Panel info sites. [youtube=9iBaF4elEr8] The G4, is not a G8. The G4 would fail nvidia's flicker testing.

There aint no micro/stutters on my Intel system with fully updated Windows 10. There is however only one game stuttering from time to time, that is Division 2. It's not the system or drivers or Windows. It's their Ubisoft servers or whoever hosts or the shoddy game net-code that causes the stutters which has been ongoing for at least 6 months now. Since TU11.

Those are the same monitors, both are g-sync compatible (unofficially working fine), both should be officially supported by Nvidia drivers. Same situation with AOC 27G2 which was officially supported by Nvidia g-sync compatible a long time ago and this is the same monitor as 24G2W1G4 and 24G2W1G8 but with 27" screen. If there are some differences they are minor like USB Hub or build in speakers in Europe 24/27G2U variant. Panel is also a minor change - earlier manufactured by china company Panda. About the new one - I don't know who is responsible for manufacture but I know that overall parameters are still the same. IMO this is stupid situation.

They are not the same monitor, the G8 has a revised LCD panel which passes nvidia's testing requirements. AOC bait and switch, product refresh without model number change, the G4 will not be certified because of its Flickering. Feel free to turn it on manually, but thats just how it is. Still critical errors with GTX10 Unfortunately, the application ha; unexpectedly ;topped working. Updating your graphies card drivers to the latest version might solve the issue. Trying a 'Scan and Repair' can help a.s well. Still in my opinion this is stupid situation because AOC 27G2 has older Panda panel and should also flicker if I have to believe your words but despite this it was officially certified by Nvidia a long time ago. ------------------ In that video he talk about Freesync only, not g-sync compatible. I never had any flickering issue. Also there is a chance that his monitor is somehow damaged or panel is not best quality, pure bad luck.

As of the last conversation with Manuel (15/4), this has not been root caused yet, issue could be Client Side or Driver as updates for both landed when the issue began.

Precisely. Your system. Not everyones system performs the same as others. Just the fact that shortly after my post someone liked my post will pretty much confirm that atleast one other person should have the same or similar issues to mine. I'm not gonna lie, im pretty well with how i build my system and keep it that way. Never had issues on my last 9900k system. Now my new system had given me a bunch of issues. Had to replace RAM, exact reason what caused the issue is unknown. Back on topic tho - i had to clean install my windows 4 times now in 2021. And on every clean install right after you get into windows the first time - i always install nvidia drivers first. And upon finishing i notice the small but (for me) noticeable stutters and unresponsive apps for example opening apps. Theres always a small delay between. Opening chrome or firefox for example usually opens instantly right after attempting to open it. In my case theres usually a very short delay for it to open and another short delay for my frontpage to appear. Same with other apps. It definitely got better after replacing RAM, but it's not gone. I know for a fact that my system even with the old RAM was fine up until november. Not sure if windows, microcode updates or nvidia drivers started to cause a negative impact on my desktop experience. As proof you can just go through this forum and people even proof that there is a negative impact between several recent drivers or microcode updates. I'm at that point i just started to roll with it and silently pray for it to vanish with every win/driver update. Hasn't happened for the past 4 months tho. The shady thing about it is the price that my system has cost me (and prolly cost way more nowadays), yet it doesn't work as i intended it to work. Fun fact a close friend of mine has recently got his parts delivered, which is pretty much a copy&paste of my system apart from his Z590 mainboard since it was same price as my Z490 and the TUF 3080 oc version instead of my strix 3090 oc ....Also has similar issues as i described. My pc has been built by the company where i ordered the parts. His got built by a professional selfemployed guy. Latest drivers, etc.. same issues. Just guessing at this point but it's either still shitty driver performance on 30series gpu or whack windows/microcode updates. Cheers

Had an easy anti cheat issue with a game 1-2 months ago where it claimed that it could not find a capable GPU, can't remember if I got it solved or ended up just uninstalling the game.

Try lowering your clocks, core and memory slightly.

thats because you're using a rx 570 with nvidia drivers.

That may be the case. I see a similar problem with the RTX 3090 and these drivers, though, although the freezes are much shorter than what DM85 described.

Release notes says DLSS 2.0 for Metro Exodus EE, but in Steam page and Digital Foundry analysis it says DLSS 2.1. Which one is correct?
All games which are implementing DLSS since the end of 2020 are using DLSS 2.1 SDK. What features they are choosing to implement is down to game developers. You can implement DLSS 2.1 in a way which won't be any different from 2.0. But if a game supports Ultra Performance preset then it is using 2.1. This doesn't mean that it is using the rest of 2.1 features though.
