Can confirm the same. NGX component not listed nor present the NGX folder after installation (Standard drivers). Any idea why? Is this intended from now on? Or a is it a bug in the packing process of this driver suite?

Didn't test it yet. Currently, waiting for @ManuelG confirmation or updates on this.

Control with RT & DLSS works fine and hex editor finds "ngxCoreVersion":"1.4.0.1" when reading the .exe from memory. Wasn't NGX already hidden with previous driver?

Thanks for reporting sir. As far as I know, it wasn't hidden with prior Game-Ready version (don't know with the Hotfix 445.78 though). Just checked the driver suite packages: 445.75 include NGX Core, 445.87 doesn't.

Yea I had the hotfix previously. Not sure if it was hidden with that either though.

Just checked prior Hotfix package as well and the NGXCore folder was present in there. Perhaps it was merged with the display driver and its installation in some way.

Just wait for the hotfix for the game ready driver, this is the driver you'll want.

nvngx.dll installed by the new driver can be found in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository (use search). It has fresh digital signatures. If you extract the 445.87 installer .exe you will find "cudnn_infer64_7.dl_" and "nvngx.dl_" in the Display.Driver directory. These seem to be some of the files that used to be found in the NGXCore folder although they now have smaller size, dunno whats up with that. Size after install is normal.

Yeah. I already see that too. Thanks again for reporting. Here is @ManuelG response on this from reddit and Nvidia forum:
This is by design. The NGXCore is now installed via declarative inf so this folder will no longer be present. The files for this component will now be present inside display.driver folder to match the DCH driver structure.

Same here. Everything works.

Just to inform you. There is a NV Shader Cache bug which was recently filed by @ManuelG (source here and here). Perhaps we will see again a Hotfix released soon, but not sure since the issue is still under investigation and isn't root caused yet.
