remind me to not buy a 6900xt lol. way too many issues im reading about. because i dont have any issues with amd like that. maybe choose a driver that works best with your card. You don't always need the latest drivers.
Enhanced Sync may cause a black screen to occur when enabled on some games and system configurations. Any users who may be experiencing issues with Enhanced Sync enabled should disable it as a temporary workaround.
Im also fed up with radeon and im not gonna buy their gpu until they fix enhanced sync, cant live without that thing. With nvidia i dont even have to install the drivers and everything works without issues.
Win11 build 25151 and 22.6.1:
I thought that DX12.2 comes with 31.xxxx drivers and in combination with WDDM 3.1.
P.S. And something else strange - On clean Win11 25151 installation I have DX12.2. On an old 25145 updated to 25151 - I have just DX 12.1. On both OS-es I have 22.6.1. š
I think the old Win is corrupted because even with 31.xxxx driver - shows DX 12.1 only.

Anyone know if VR or HEVC/AMF/VCN is fixed? Both are known issues with all the 22.5.2 drivers, and yet there's zero mention of any of that in the notes.
Wmr Vr still faulty same problem as may preview and 22.5.2 cant do 90hz properly either flickering or black screen in headset. so looks like it's back to 22.5.1 for now
After the last few days, I think I'll stick with 22.5.2 a bit longer..... I finally appear to have gotten my screen to stop flashing black screens constantly....
They fix Fortnite but not GTA

These are strange days.
AMD wants to provide OpenGL updates, when almost nothing uses OpenGL on Windows and OpenGL performance is outstanding on Linux.
AMD wants to offer DX11 improvements, where mostly anything new that is AAA or even AA is DX12 or Vulkan now.
A ton of people complain about Enhanced Sync issues, where luckily it seems, I've never had issues with, nor do I see why it's so useful when it has so extreme niche use cases.

Unfortunately not. Just filed my 'driverly' bug report after a bit of testing with Virtual Desktop. AMF version remains the same as previous driver also (1.4.25.0).
When I get my wmr vr to open correctly with no flickering the fps seem to be rock solid and works fantastic its just a pain I have open and close wmr portal multiple times to before it works properly

There are people who still play games with older engines, and welcome these updates.

That's not quite right, for example Minecraft is one of the best known OpenGL Games which is played a lot on Windows.
Many older games still use DX11 instead of newer DX12 or Vulkan.
Never used enhanced sync so idk about that one.
