Good to see AMD jumped on this bus quick, however I think it is fare to say give NVIDIA a chance to release their DX12 driver update for this game and then do the comparison.

Oh.... that's interesting! It looks like AMD have solved all of their previously 'Known Issues' relating to CF. That's impressive...

why did you remove the slide in which the RX 480 beats the 1070 in DX12?
wouldn't it be fair to show both slides?
why did you do this, Hilbert?

I'm starting to believe that it will take A LOT more time till all the devs start actually utilizing these low-level APIs...
The only 2 exceptions I can think of right now is AotS and the new Doom. But everything else seems to perform better under DX11. I am not impressed.

Oh no. These drivers crash/hang at the "Restarting" Screen on my System when I try to reboot Windows 10 64 bit (Version 1706, build 14393.105 right now problem was there since before the Anniversary update, however) with my two Radeon 7970Ms 2GB Crossfire, just like any other driver after 16.7.2. The difference here is that previously, I could just install a newer driver without the Settings app (and use the one from 16.7.2 or earlier) and it would not crash/hang. With this version, this trick no longer works as it hangs regardless.
Also, for some reason the display brightness is dialed down to the minimum value and the brightness controls don't work after hibernation/hybrid shutdown.
Going back to the older 16.7.2 driver solves all the problems.
These drivers appear to be quite a mess for me. 🙁

I can't seem to get Deus Ex to run in DX12 mode. Choosing DX12 crashes the game always in intro screen. Also crashes steam.
Edit: Nm, got the game running by reloading ultra preset details on prelaunch menu.

I am updating (work in progress) here:
http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/deus_ex_mankind_divided_pc_graphics_performance_benchmark_review,8.html
AMD gains significantly at 1080P, Nvidia with the latest drivers remains either flat or at 1080P shows negative scaling in DX12.
Undying

Actually my problem with Deus Ex seems to be with New afterburner. If I have it on it always crashes the game with gaming evolved animation. But if I enable it during game, it works just fine.
Edit:
Having afterburner running when starting game under DX12 doesn't seem to be the problem, but having OSD toggled on during Gaming evolved title is. So if you having this problem, toggle OSD of when launching game, and turn it on during game works fine (for me atleast)

Well DX12 certainly fixes all overhead problems from AMD driver on those streets. They were the real "big" issue. Only real problem that remains on all ultra now on my Fury X i s that 4GB of memory. This game really uses it a lot. AMD driver does use a bit over dynamic memory, but I feel they could use it even more. Well what do I know.
Here's the 2 pictures to give you idea about the overhead caused by DX11, and the lack of it at DX12: (DX12 pic is with a bit higher settings, and from a bit different location (but suffers from similiar overhead in dx11 that this comparable picture):
DX11, and AMD driver overhead:

DX12, no AMD driver to slow things down (it's good to see that greedy thread disappear) :

Ps, take a look at ram usage of DX12 on ultra settings 🙂

They're also not listing the Battlefield 4 Mantle crashes in the Known Issues list.
Krteq
I'm playing BF4 under mantle since release and I had no issues with crashes with all released drivers.

Did anyone else get Application Profiles as an installation option? Is this the return of the CAP system?
