First the discs were delegitimized by requiring big updates or even components to be downloaded and now even the printed text on the box is delegitimized by changing the system requirements. Next will be "Physical copies show the game as Doom Eternal but we decided to change its name to Doom Switchoreq".

Well, having a 1080p, 60Hz monitor, I think my GTX 1080 and Ryzen 3700x can get some nice details out of this game - seeing how "Ultra Nightmare" is meant for 4k or 1440p @120Hz.

Ok, having 3700x and 2080Ti for nightmare settings I feel a bit uncomfortable that it's no longer an overkill.

I played the previous DOOM version recently and 90-100FPS+ is highly recommended in this fast shooter game. So I guess with these specs, I'll have to put the settings very low in a 1440p monitor with a GTX1080

Thinking I will be ok to set to ultra @1080 with 16GB ram, Ryzen/3600, GTX1070oc. We will see?

I highly doubt that. I'd expect performance very similar to Doom 2016.

Agree, i ran that maxed out & dsr'd 2880x1620, at usually 100-120fps or so.. I think i wont have any trouble at native or a little higher resolution

I just noticed but why didn't they list any RX 5700 or 5600's? Instead they use Radeon VII and Vega.

I hope the medium textures are more like a buffer size - thats how it is in most of the games nowadays. Íf not, I hope they look good 🙂
