This is the only other game I'm really looking forward to this year. Looks really nice. Hopefully they live up to the first game.

Let the QTE flow.

AMD owners get ready for poor performance on your cards, unlike the first game which used the Unreal engine, this uses a modified version Id Tech's Rage 5 engine, which is OpenGL. OpenGL & AMD cards are still unhappy partners after all these years..

Maybe, but Doom runs pretty much perfect now, don't know if their engine is any different.

Just gonna throw this out there, let's be nice to each other. And Also, Doom seems to perform fairly well with new Crimson drivers.

Just like the first game, it looks really nice artistically, but nothing special in technical terms. Not a criticism, mind you. It means it will look pretty but also not bring GPUs to their knees. Especially since I'm still running this antique... If it's as good as the first one, I'm really looking forward to giving it a spin.

So it won't use id Tech 6? I love how DOOM cleaned up the textures and the post FX look great.

No. First Dishonored used UE3 so maybe we'll see UE4 this time.

It's a modified version of iDTech5. Ever since iD became Zenimax/Bethesda's puppet, they've been using their engines pretty much exclusively on most new titles.

I love that. Just a flat out 'no your wrong' and 'here is what I think'. Someone already said it uses a modded id Tech 5, third response to the thread. Not that graphics are everything, but I hope to see some of the improvements from 6 in there. I personally think the ID buy out was the best thing to happen to ID in the modern age.

Looks great, I loved the first game. Not only was the setting original, great atmosphere and the multiple approach on missions was done very good. I personally am a fan of the iDTech engine ever since RAGE, and in the right artistic hands it can look very beautiful, I'm sure it will be exceptionally so in this game.
