I've had my 24" Ultrasharp 1920x1200 for a very long time now. It's still as good as it was brand new and i personally don't want anything higher res for now.

I'm still rocking a 27" 1920x1200 monitor from 2009. Although I'm not looking for an upgrade yet, but when the time comes I won't settle for anything less than 30" and a 4K resolution. Hope this will drive prices down for 4K monitors. Anything else is just a downgrade (except QHD). Hopefully by that time I will be upgrading my PC as well. Skylake-E in conjunction with Intel 100 Series chipsets maybe? I don't get why people keep upgrading their monitor from a 1080p display to one with the same resolution. Unless they're moving from a TN panel to an IPS or something better than TN, it doesn't make sense and it's just a waste of money. Yeah, new monitors/TV tend to consume less power, but it's still a waste of money.

Dell's last 4K attempt was a disaster. Fixed firmware was refused, support was behaving like a headless chicken and overall experience a disaster. I'd rather go Asus any day.

That is because Dell prob uses LG panels like Apple, Overlord Computer and other companies that deal in high end panels. You used to work for the Dell warranty department until they fired you all and replaced everyone with a call center in Pakistan. Merica'

This looks like it would be great monitor for people in editing and if it wasnt the 30hz this could be amazing for other uses;)

60hz I seen it. Its a stunner. Will be getting when it comes out in HK. Its out in US already $2599.
