I can see the frames and bezels on all four sides of the screen. What do they mean when they say "frameless" these days and why would it mean anything when it clearly means nothing?

I totally agree. What gimmicky name will marketing departments come up with once real frameless screens are release on laptops? XD

Most laptops/monitors have a plastic surround that the screen is then placed behind, xps for a number of years are glass to the sides, so although you can see black at the edges there is no actual plastic frame overlaying. Hopefully I've explained that correctly

Ah, so the frame is still there, but it's behind the screen instead of in front of the screen. Thanks for the explanation. 🙂 But, honestly, who gives a shit? We want no frame visible at all, right?
