Well if holidays are boring without a daily gaming session, this Alienware X14 R2 would be a good companion. I struggle to game with a 16" or 17" laptop screen as I have a gaming PC with an Asus PG35VQ Ultrawide. When I used my 17" laptop I found myself very close to the screen, amazing when I started gaming very happily on a 15" laptop!

The problem might be Quad HD - that lappie struggles to beat my six years old GT73 which is good for 2k but not much more.
