Also this syntax implies that DDR5 was cheaper than DDR4... If you wanted to put some effort into translations way more apropriate way to say this would be "DDR5 to match the price of DDR4 in 2023".

Team Elite 16GB x2 Hynix M-die is 220$ on Amazon. Overclocks easy to 6800-7000mhz. Hynix A-die 16GB x2 is about 300$ (scalper price) , and overclocks to about 7800-8000mhz... The best DDR5 is cheap if you actual know what you are buying 🙂

Plz educate me through this. I would love to know a thing or two regarding this. I did some back in the day when samsung b die was just retiring. Got a pair of cheap hynix cjr kits.

So? You will pay more still but your 12700k/13700k will be faster using ddr5.
with over 2x price premium lol that is more than 13600->13700 difference. better buy a sku up than gain a few percent with ddr5 13700 + ddr4> 13600+ddr5,cost will be the same,actually lower if you already own some ddr4 it sucks amd is not giving the option to use ddr4, new cpus are still plenty fast without ddr5 and the money savings are substantial.

Hell I paid $129 for my 32GB 3600 kit. I was gonna jump on AM5, but honestly Im not gonna get it till you can get 32GB DDR5 6000 for $150.

IDGAF if its CL14,CL16, or CL18. I needed a cheap 32GB that was better then my CL14 3000 kit. You are not gonna tell me what the hell I am would be doing. I was gonna do it but its not worth it for me at this time. 5800x3d or 5900x would be a better purchase. Plus I have a $4000 motor to buy in a few weeks. PC gaming is not my only hobby.
