Intel always scaled good with fast memory.. AMD scaled the best with lower timings, but less with Ryzen.

If you are meaning AMD 7 series, so is it about 6400mhz max stable plus/minus a few 100 mhz. Depends on imc/timings/voltage etc... I'm running 6200mhz c28 on 7950x now. 6400 with tight timings isn't 100% stable yet. Maybe I need a new bios or better memory controller. Edit: wrote 7400 instead of 6400..

It's pretty good, but not super good. Memory performance is garbage, so the latency and gaming performance is under what we should expect from a new generation. Looks like AMD nerfed 7xxx series to sell more 3d models later. There is no doubt that my 7950x is lacking cache/low latency/memory performance when the fps is WAY more unstable than Alder Lake 12900k with 7000mhz memory. 7 series is beat by last generation in gaming LOL. (5800x3d) A bit dissapointed that 7950x can't beat 12900k in the games I play. Why on earth couldn't AMD release 7950x3d day one...... Now we have to wait for good gaming performance, and 13 series to intel is going steal marked share. Overclock the cpu a few 100mhz up doesn't do anything in games. Lower latency/ memory performance is the key. Read; Tuning the memory. To bad this sux on this platform right now.... Just like Zen 1-2 and 3. 🙁 This is my oppinion right now.

Yeah the latency is straight awful,even using 6000 C30, this is probably why it falls behind 12th gen in really CPU heavy scenarios where using high quality ram usually helped a ton.r7000 could actually have been better with an improved ddr4 controller,allowing 4266/4400 c17 in sync mode,instead of ddr5.

If the IMC on the Raptor Lakes are still at 2000mhz, might hold off till the DDR5 8000's hit the scene. the 7600's very well might be clockable up to that speed regime.

Meanwhile motherboard reviewer at TPU is saying Ryzen 7000 is having compatibility issues with some RAM kits at above 5600MT/s.... Should be interesting to see some DDR5 scaling above 7000MT/s with Intel 13th gen.

wow, you are running outside the 1:1 ratio and you are wondering why performance is worse than 12900k. you had a 12900k system with 7000mhz memory and got ryzen system? why? nothing you saying on this forum is making any sense and sad thing is some here are actually buying it.

I am sure he has a 12900k, 13900k and 7950x. He just has very weird settings like 1080p and 500fps to provoke a Intel win.

Only in bs hub tests where i3 gets 150fps lol, check out purepc tests where CPU locations are really tested and weak cpus will actually struggle.see how well 7700x does there against 12700k on ddr4 Nizzen already posted pics of his 7950x lol what kind of stupid argument is that
