ngl, the game looks great with RT Overdrive, but you need DLSS 3 and 2.

Might want to include the image that announces those recommendations. As it has a asterisks for that RT Overdrive recommendation... https://i.imgur.com/Mm5Tfyh.png Notably that the expected FPS is for RT Overdrive on a 4080 is with FrameGeneration on. So expect a 30fps feel to that 60 fps visual.

So we're finally at this point when the game gets content? Hopefully the performance/quest issues are fixed. Seems like I can finally play the game after not touching it since release day.

I did a full campaign run there a few months ago. It played well enough that I was able to enjoy all the main story content, most of the side quests and every single Fixer quest. Functionally, it's perfectly fine to play. My gripes with it was that I noticed through the quests that the game had far more potential than was realised. SkillUp did a Hands On Preview of this new DLC content and it appears that there will be a lot of changes happening in the base game on the launch of the DLC that sounds promising. I'll be doing another run of the campaign again at some point this year or next year with the DLC. I'm thinking after I treat myself to a new Nvidia GPU I'll give another run of the game with RT Overdrive on. Who said you can only have one mid-life crisis?

CPU Intel i9-12900 non-K is adviced for 60fps on RT Overdrive with DLSS3 (FG)!????? 😕 But we lied to the developer of CD PROJEKT RED 😡 because check my 2 screenshots at 1080p and at 720p running i7-12700KF@stock (Turbo Boost normal 4.9GHz or Turbo 3.0 5.0GHz) with all cores (HT ON + E cores ON), Zotac RTX 4090 non-OC@stock speeds 531.79WHQL (HQ) running Windows 10 22h2. 1080p at RT Overdrive with all maximums except DLSS-OFF, motion blur-OFF, film grain-OFF, chromatic aberration-OFF and bloom-OFF (NOTE: need to edit configuration file - check https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/game-ready-drivers/13/516948/cyberpunk-2077-overdrive-dlss-flickering/3344663/): - 1080p

-720p

Therefore, if we use original benchmark tool (with or without Phantom Liberty Expansion), I think CPU recommended RT Overdrive with DLSS and 60fps (likely minimum framerate) is approximately i7-4770K for "Frame Generation" enabled or i7-12700 for "Frame Generation" disabled. 🙂

Yeah right 60 fps on RT Overdrive @2160p on 4080 is not possible unless DLSS Balanced+FG. I am getting 70 fps with DLSS balanced @1440p with a 4080.

That why I said the image is important. As it notes that the frame rate is achieved by using DLSS and Frame Generation.

I've never really paid any attention to this game but if I can find it at a decent price I might buy it, I'm coming to the end of my third run through of Metro EE so need another first person game to fill that void.

Still haven't bought it and looking at the requirements I won't for quite some time yet. Certainly not going to spend a couple of thousand euros to play a game.

what about gameplay? in current version of CP2077 you get OP and level capped just doing random map missions
