Strange I've found Crysis 2 and 3 to both run pretty well on modern hardware, it's always been the original that ran so poorly thanks mainly in part to the engine used at the time only being lightly multithreaded (1-2 threads max) and then windows having to do the work for the game engine. Not to forget but it shipped with a 32bit exe on Steam and needed modding to get 64bit exe working. Or the infamous fullscreen bug where it would lock to 30Hz and the colours all be completely off only for you to have to mash ALT+ENTER few times to get it to stick every time.

It's a good thing they fixed the first game with the remaster.

Sorry but your rig is powerful. is not RELATIVELY powerful. Is within 15% difference of the best thing you can buy right now
Thanks! I'd though I'd have to have a secksay R9 5950X to qualify.;) Regardless, I did consider an upgrade to that, but I'd had a hard time justifying it as my 3900X does what I need it to do with aplomb. BTW, will there be an R9 5950XT? I'd not mind looking at that as a last hurrah for my X570 mobo. The 3900X can go into an mATX/ITX build I've always to try building.
