That's with a single DIMM correct? Either way I'm good on the ddr5 for white some time. That is until it's main stream tech just like how I scooped up my DDR4.

2x32gb dual rank ddr5? Lovely. Only question is will the alder lake and zen4 actually will be able to take advantage of such a high freq. dram.

Will the increase in capacity be matched with a decrease in cost? If DDR5 is starting with a capacity of 128GB and will have the same prices as the 128GB DDR4 then no one is going to jump on this train anytime soon. I hope a 128GB DDR5 kit will have the same price as 32GB DDR4 kit.

Corsair emphasizes that DDR5 memory modules have their own voltage regulation instead of being controlled by the mainboard. This is supposed to simplify the mainboard design and hopefully make it cheaper, but then of course the RAM bars will also be more expensive Along with 1-bit ECC, that is going to cause an increase in cost.
