Until Corsair sorts their software out i certainly wont be buying another 1 of their products. The current version of link has my fans not starting or stopping randomly and doesnt actually stick to the rpm you asked for.

I do hope that they (manufacturers) will stop soon with this RGB madness... Computers will soon be like circus carnival...

Geez! These things get more and more expensive. 120usd for that kit of 3? Come on. I got 16(yeah, sixteen) used SP120 High Performance from Amazon for ~about that price(130euro).

Lol, that price tag though and they dare call it "value series".

I really don't understand people like you that say things like that, the majority of PC hardware has NO RGB at all, you have to specifically want RGB products to buy them, and in the few cases of there being no other option then getting something with RGB (motherboards or graphics card for example most of the high end of those have it as standard) you can still just turn the lighting off.

Totally agree. Most, if not all RGB lighting with controllers have an OFF switch.

I kinda like all the RGB lighting on components these days , it the natural progression of pimping up your PC , I have RGB in my case, graphics card,Fans, keyboard and around the back of my desk and monitor to , it really does look nice in the evening when im having my gaming session. My next motherboard, ram ,headphones and chair upgrade will surely be sporting RGB to ๐Ÿ™‚ hopefully ๐Ÿ™‚

No problems here still using my own made profile for the link software.

I don't understand why some people want companies to stop the RGB trend. Well if you don't like don't buy. RGB components can be customized. You can set it to a static color of your choice and change the way it moves so no circus if you don't want. RGB lighting is here to stay. It is the natural evolution of the self lighted components. We had only red blue and white leds all these years and it wasn't easy to change your theme in case you changed a component and didn't match. With RGB I solved an aesthetic problem I had with PC hardware for a long time.

Just sixteen? Need more? I've got 9 (6 AFs & 3 SPs) just sitting in my closet ๐Ÿ˜€

Also I like RGB fans and whatever else but $40-45 a pop and $119 for 3-Pack is steep. Hell, even Corsair's HD120 3PACK kit is starting at 64euro. I'm saying all this because of article sentence and I quote: "Corsair is adding a more value RGB LED fan series to their lineup called the LL series." Usually this means a "cheaper" alternative to something. To what? They looks like among if not most expensive fan pack kits around.

i like some lighting... but not like the dance floor from "Saturday Night Fever". also and more importantly for those that like RGB, why on earth do we keep seeing (afaik) every rgb fan multi-pack include the controller?! they could easily lop $30 off the price just by offering rgb fans without controllers. especially since rgb control has become a mobo feature.

Heck, you can even make your own for about $5 with a chinese Arduino uno and a few mins of coding.
