It's not as bad as it's made out to be but I too prefer the sails logo. My K70 would look pretty bad when the red/black is disrupted by a yellow thing.
If this was on a power supply I couldn't care less but a keyboard is something you see constantly in front of you so aesthetics DO matter there. The outburst about the issue just proves how important it is.

I prefer the original sails logo tbh. I hope that the select retailers that will still sell versions with the original logo wont be limited to the USA.

What I don't get is why they didn't go with a cutlass instead of the weird looking dagger things.

Honestly, i'm not seeing the swords, i first see the stamp and then the swords.
And I really *really* think that it's absolutely stupid to change your logo to something completely different in one go instead of gradually.
People will be looking for the sails and skip the sabres logo. People don't read the words on the boxes when browsing.
I know about many companies that went away because they changed their logo in a single day completely.
Want to use the swords? integrate them in the sails logo, wait for some years, then change the colour on the sails to something that won't be as visible, and then take them off completely. People won't even complain.

Don't like it. I hope they have the option for the sails logo on their k70 rgb cherry brown also, not just red...:3eyes: If not I'll just rip off the gaming one.

I see where it could be interpreted as a tramp stamp; I prefer the sails. I do not necessarily see two swords or daggers though either...just looks kind of tribal to me.

North west here and heard of Tramp Stamp before, but i never knew what its was really, i thought it was a tat on the ankle or something that was home made.
Will have to keep an eye out for these now as i might get a free jump out of it.
"Hey Darling i noticed you have a tramp stamp on ya back, any chance of a f***"
Might work guys give it a try. 🙂

I'm not sure what all the raging is about. I mean they are entitled to make a logo to be whatever they want (within reason) obviously. If you like it great, if you hate it, great. Who cares?
I personally find it an odd choice because it is very tramp-stampy.. those who know and have seen their share of tramp stamps I cannot see disagreeing with this.. it just looks gotti and douchebaggy to me.
Oh well.

Looks stupid. The ship sails logo was creative. That just looks like a computer-generated tattoo.

Yup, horrible logo and that "GAMING" text under it. Gaming RAM and PSU's, sure...

Why would they put a picture of a crab as a gaming logo?

I live in the NW and I haven't heard of a tramp stamp either, It's probably a southern thing.

Tramp stamp look alike or not I simply think it looks tacky. If I was back in my teens I'd probably love it but I'm not and far prefer the old one. Heck I've not seen their new gaming products yet but with a symbol like this I'm expecting some godawful stuff with LED's and all sorts of crap on it.
Keep it clean and classy like before, not everyone wants something resembling a transformer.
In the end it's a logo and if its a good product I'll buy it, but there's just something about that design which is making me concerned about their future product styling :3eyes:

I see absolutely nothing wrong with the design of the new logo; It looks pretty cool and resembles numerous faction logos seen in all sorts of genres from fantasy to sci-fi. People who sees this as a tramp stamp probably sees the white smoke/ black smoke in Thomas the Tank Engine as racists.
However I do like the old logo and see no reason why they needed to add a purely 'gaming' orientated logo. Isn't all Corsair products geared towards gamers anyway?
I am also very disappointed that Corsair is dropping the 'Vengeance' line in favour of 'Corsair Gaming'. Boo-erns!!!!
