It's still not that low as you can buy two 7970 for 650$ or less.

how about its game bundle factored in?

I think that TPU is a competitor and you should look for another source. About your question, well, each 7970 has 3 games as well, meaning 6 games.3 for re-sale of course.Anyway, these days you can search for those on any webiste that sells keys, they are not worth 100$ as they have mentioned on that article.

i think AMD want to get rid of all the little 7990 left before September when new gen is out. 7990 had very hard and short life...

In the US you might. The article is also quoting the way different EU prices of the card. And here is way different. No Newegg, Target, BestBuy etc unfortunately in the EU. Also prices are kinda subjective as to where you buy, location, good deals/offers etc. I'm also talking about BNIB. In general a new custom 7970(Sap, GB, Asus etc.) go for €320-350 from reputable and trusted shops. I would put the emphasis on the bolded words. So for €600 which is as much as I got my now 6 months old GTX 690(was 4mths used), I reckon that EU price is darn good! But while a huge cut from its price was indeed made, as I did a quick check on the prices, although I did find an AMD 7990 going for €600 from only 1 shop while the next cheapest were €640, I still have might some doubts about that €600 price tag. I reckon a €200/ cut seems more like it. And that too is nothing to sneeze at btw. But wait! Discounting an already overpriced product, does that make it a good deal then? Hmm. 😉 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So here's a question for my beloved Guru3D members(please keep it clean), what would you buy? A GTX 780 or an AMD 7990? Price wise they are the same.

The website selling the card at 599€ does this kind of "Best Offer" deals from time to time; is a business strategy they often enforce. It's not like every HD7990 will cost 599€ from now on. So, I would be careful and wait a couple of weeks before stating the HD7990 reference price permanently drop to 599€ with the same high degree of confidence Guru3D is . Btw, if I saw this HD7990 for 599€ deal when I was looking for a €600 GTX780, I would NOT give second thoughts, as the article suggests. There were the HD7970s for 309€ already available at the time, in the same website. So, I would still have bought the GTX780 over the HD7990. I had enough of multi-GPU systems already.

Hard to say, if you want pure performance it's a no-brainer get the 7990. But that comes with CF hassles, heat etc....

As a single card I would get the 7990 because it is a dual GPU card which is like having 2 cards but using one slot. But if I were going dual cards then I would get the 780 due to the reasons all ready mentioned.

now we need pricing war where they keep going lower the prices, cause gpu prices have gotten ridiculous.

only nvidia high end pricing went silly really, AMD are selling their gpus at a very competitive price. I mean £590 for that beast 7990 is on par with a single gtx 780. that's great. Their 7950 averages around £220 and their 7970 around £300. That's not bad
