If 500Gb were under $100 and 1TB under $200, I would consider getting another SSD. However, the prices right now are just not worth it since I already have SSD's in both my machines. Maybe this release will help drive prices down.

I'm in the same boat. I have a 180GB SSD and would like more space but I'd rather not upgrade until I can purchase a 1TB SSD for a decent price. Hopefully prices like these will start driving the prices down on other 1TB solid state drives.

I'll be looking to order a new SSD this summer. Hopefully prices will come down a bit more by then.

Next SSD I get is going to be NVMe for sure. I'm just waiting till they actually standardize some kind of connector for that type of application. Taking up a whole PCI-E slot seems weird and the Hyperkit for M2 only works on ASUS boards. They need a better M2 connector/standard I guess.

I don't need 1TB to drop below $100. I just need 500GB to drop below $100. I'm only looking for an SSD for my laptop.

I have two 120gb's, one for OS one for couple of main games i can live with that. When prices really drop i'll just grab 1TB for storage and replace my Wd black.

Ah, finally. Looking to replace my 1TB HDD which is used to install games only with an SSD of around 500GB. The price range looks good too. 320GB would've done me well but game developers are too lazy to separate the 4K textures for 99% of gamers...
