@cucaulay malkin personally I'd never use that feature as it would hurt my eyes. Strobe is only good to induce seizure as well as eye and head pain. In another topic, if quality is on par with their recent fans: I'd say they'll RMA allot!

yeah, same as every game screen gives you epilepsy, right ? https://i.ytimg.com/vi/iA_XySo6SEc/maxresdefault.jpg strobing is a must,it's a lot better than having 200/240hz in normal mode, and it's fine unless you're very sensitive.I've played hunreds of hours with strobing and never felt anything. It's a problem under 100hz,but not at 120hz.

@cucaulay malkin let me guess: you never had a problem with FRC either? Not everyone has the same experience, I have blue eyes so they're more sensitive to light compared to regular brown coloured eye people.

lol sorry, but you having bad experience with strobing is anecdotal data. and my eyes are blue as ocean too. only time I had some sort of an issue was trying to play with ulmb at 85hz for extended periods of time.At 120hz it's not a problem. and for VA it's the only way it can actually run games without that smearing presentation.

@cucaulay malkin never had VA panel, my first two where TN and I'm on my third IPS now. I'm not obsessed with colour as long as it doesn't look yellow or washed out. I just want fast pixel response time and true 8 bit. If the pixels are fast, you don't need strob bs.

va's are awful for gaming they all smear to some extent.most of them smear a lot. as for strobing, like I said,if it's at 120hz or higher it's fine for your eyes and it prdouces unparalelled results
https://abload.de/img/8d5dd9eb-4866-471b-as8k0z.jpeg
@cucaulay malkin I don't want to say you're wrong, because I haven't tried that feature on my own monitor (EX2510). That said, most people don't care about FRC but the first monitor I had with it just made my eyes cry. If it works for you, great! But I'm sceptical and just prefer normal proven tech. It's possible to make fast IPS that doesn't need FRC or other bs, unfortunately fabrication is pushing 6 bit panels and slow pixels cuz they're cheap. Again, I have no experience with VA and I'd say every tech has strengths and weaknesses. One has to do the research and chose accordingly.
