I remember playing one of the old Commanche games. It was not bad by any means, but I remember the missions taking a lot of time. This seems more geared towards action, though.

I remember the old Comanche game, it was many many years ago, it was in the floppy disc era I believe. It was cool and while it wasn't really a simulation, someway you had the feeling of flying an helicopter. This one looks nothing like that, it looks like a random FPS, only difference is that instead of being on foot you have an always on jetpack.

I bought a Commanche 4 game around 2001 and I bought a $350 dollar video card that was SIS model I think and I asked the guy if it would run the game and the frigging game could not even run on the video card,OH I was so pissed at the store owner that sold me the video card.Well needless to say a got a new video card out of him and a free ASUS motherboard and he kept his teeth. Great memory LOL.

Yeah, this immediately reminded me of that old game. I loved it and played it using my then new Thrustmaster HOTAS setup. 🙂 I even played Janes US Navy Fighters and loved landing and taking off from the carrier deck.

dont like that the cockpit view looks more like an overlay-film i attached to my screen like playing console in the 70s. @James Frazer anyone that saw just one trailer, new it wasnt a sim but an action flyer like ace combat. not the games fault.
