Manly game? If by manly you mean bronies on consoles, then yes. Mario has more realism than Bf1, that game is a pathetic spit on anything related to history.
Personally CoD 4 / MW2, had best multiplayer experiences. I would gladly pay for that.

Looks like you've just destroyed the install base of this game all together. I know a ton of people who are not going to buy the new COD just because of what they are doing to try and sell it.......with a MW remake!!
Stand alone I'd have no problem picking up the remake, but buying a game to get this......I will not do that just for the fact of not giving them one more sale.

Have to agree. Also BF3 was a masterpiece in terms of sp and mp. This however does look good although give it 12 months and the activision cash cow will decide to release the remaster separately guaranteed.

I'm not sure why COD always gets that knock and Battlefield does the same thing and gets a pass.Leaving out all the personal opinions about which is better.

Looks like they are REALLY afraid of sales figures for COD:IW. They don't even want to risk cannibalizing their own player base by releasing the remastered old game separately, haha.

As much as I love COD4 original and now the remaster, I´ll never going to pay $ 79 for a ****ty unbalanced garbage of game just to get the remaster. Hopefully someone finds a way to sell it separately at $ 20 or so, then and only then I´ll pay for that.
BF1 is an amazing game btw... period.

Hey, these two, new trailers of Battlefield look nothing like the Beta .... oh wait, how about BF1 fans comment in the appropriate topic and spare us their elitism?
I personally have spent many hundreds of hours in CoD4 MP and the nostalgia pull is insane. I am annoyed they seem to have changed the sounds of the weapons. A have enjoyed the more recent CoD's for what they are are - light-minded arcades, meant to take you on a quick ride, nothing serious, tons of simple, fps fun. But CoD4 MP had a rather high skill ceiling, great map design and almost perfect balance of weapons.
Also they have said they will not sell it separately since the minute they announced it, I don't get the surprise.

I doubt that I see every year the predictions of COD's demise how terrible it is and on and on and every time it sets sales records.You don't like it but other people do get over it.

I haven't checked but weren't they also supposed to release dedicated servers for BO3 back in March?
If they cut the the dedicated servers out of CoD4 they will have a problem with the players and will cut sales also.

Yeah they were and that's the biggest legit knock on COD but I doubt it will cut sales but it would be nice to have them I miss that part.
