Sad part is, that at least if we're talking "AAA", there hasn't been a good WWII game in a long, long time. This most likely won't be it either...

Not sure what was the first WWII based game I've played, probably some WWII platform shooter on C-64, but after all those FPS games on PC with WWII theme not sure I'll see anything new in WWII games in near future. Maybe some future VR WWII game will make me yell woow!, who knows, but in front of 2D screen think I've seen everything.

The last good ones I can remember were Medal of Honor, and Brothers in Arms. This new COD could be pretty epic though.

I like WWII games and thought CoD 2 was great. What I liked was the slower pace but I doubt that this will be that. CoD games have become so fast and chaotic that I have a hard time getting into the multiplayer.

Red Orchestra did a good job with their WWII game. For me I started with Day of Defeat beta 2.0... looking forward to how well this game is done.
