I just want them to use a new good engine instead of rebuilding and reworking the same old engine that looks the same every time and feels the same every time.
I won't buy some silly $80 pack (aka. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare - Legacy Edition) just to get my hands on a remastered version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
I just want them to use a new good engine instead of rebuilding and reworking the same old engine that looks the same every time and feels the same every time.
agree 100% give us the wow factor then it be worth the money , but these reskins no thanks if u give them money they just keep doing reskins over and over with ancient old game engines
It will look like modern Cod. Nothing to see here if you didn't enjoy it first time round. I think it's cool they did it, but, to package it with the next cod...not what people were asking for.
It would be ironic, however, if this remaster has more players than IW.
It feels weird that we are getting a remaster for this game. We've had like what, 8 COD's after this one? The formula has not changed at all since they struck gold with this one. Usually remasters or re-releases serve the purpose of heralding back to your roots, fan servicing, ect. But so little has changed over the years I would have just assumed this was another COD in the cogs had I not been told otherwise.
CO4 is a great game and a highlight of the franchise but i have two reasons to beef this remaster. First, it reaks of oportunism to milk costumers nostalgia while hiding the fact they´re running out of ideas or they reached the point where the lust for money got into such a singularity they don´t even bother anymore. Second, this game is not a classic and/or old enough to be remastered. There´s such an epic legacy of amazing games our dear PC plataform over the generations and they tasing this dead horse to grab some bucks. bah
It was easily one of the best in this extremely played out series.
I played the $hit out of MW online.. can't say the same for any of the others.
It had awesome maps, awesome graphics for its time, great netcode / online performance.. only problem was hackers, but that's nothing new under the sun.
thatgood.
