"1080p TN for lightning-fast 2ms response time" I guess 60hz too since no mention about hz. Yeaaaah... right... if it costs under 100$ it might be ok for something I guess.

Why would you release 1080p TN with lightning-SLOW (tons of TN have 1ms) 2ms response time in 2017. Sorry, but thats pure garbage even if the design is the best in the world.

Why the hell are TN panels still being produced, they are absolute trash.

They're special orders for GAMERZ, along with USB lock keys for RAID and RGB mousepads.

Because: Price. Not everyone cares about IPS. I for one, hate IPS and much rather a high quality TN panel. But VA is a decent idea too.

beacuse some cant stand the reasonse time of IPS/VA panels? I know i cant. IMO IPS panels nicer colors mean sqaut to me if it ruined by terrible response time and motion blur. IPS even has terrible clouding on pure black compared to VA and TN. I never seen IPS panel I liked I rather have VA panel Faster response time>colors Till that fabled day when OLED replaces LED/LCD and is not ridiculously priced, so far i been wating 10+ years for that. As for deep blacks my dads Sony XBR65X930C has the best black i seen on any lcd/led most time when goes all black i go for the remote cause i think it turned off.

Ikr, I just find it strange people are willing to sacrifice far better colours and viewing angles for a minuscule 2-3ms faster response time. I can put up with some minor ips glow over the horrible viewing angles and colour shift of TN/VA panels any day. I guess its down to usage preference but there is a reason TN panels are cheap....

ips glow
IPS glow is probably the worst issue i have ever seen with any monitor- EVER. Now i understand that's not everyone, but there are many people like myself who can not stand IPS glow. You can't just sit behind your own likes and dislikes and try and state there's no possibility other people have other likes and dislikes.

Eh, that's why I said "I guess it's down to usage preference"

Interesting can't really see difference in response times on a high end IPS made for gaming and TN panel. Nor the motion blur. I know motion blur is evident on my proart display tho.
